Kenneth Goldsmith is undoubtedly one of the most important contemporary theorists, artists and poets. His approach to digital textuality has largely transformed the fields of literary, artistic and media studies. In 1996, he created Ubuweb, the fundamental archive of avant-garde and experimental literature, film and music of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, a project he recounts in Patrimoine pirate.
